《美术文献》是当代艺术家的阵地,前卫批评家的平台,先锋策展人的营垒。二十年来,数百位有资历或有潜力的艺术家在刊物上亮相,数十位批评家、策展人或艺术家主持过刊物的编辑。《美术文献》一直以不偏激也不平庸的姿态,采用“述而不作”的治史方法,推介正在被美术界关注的艺术现象,侧重于同文化现实直接挂钩的前卫艺术,为中国当代艺术立传。主持人的个人观点,通常隐藏在他的视野和他的选择背后,从而体现历史文献的中性品格。
“Art literature” is the position of contemporary artists, avant-garde critic’s platform, pioneer curator’s camp.
