出版《中国地球物理学报》是中国地球物理学会的主要工作之一。开始时,只打算作为不定期的刊物;写成英文是为了和外国交换。第一卷出了两期,第二卷出了三期,是很不规则的。由第三卷起直到第十二卷都是半年刊。创刊号出版于1948年6月,由翁文波同志主编。自一卷2期至第五卷都是由我主编。学报由第三卷(1954年)起改用中文发表。它的英文译名原来是Journal of the Chinese Geophysical Society。自第五卷起,改用拉 The publication of “China Geophysical Journal” is one of the major tasks of China Geophysical Society. The beginning, only intended as a non-scheduled publication; written in English in order to exchange with foreign countries. The first volume out of two, the second volume out of three, is very irregular. From the third roll until the twelfth volume are semi-annual.
