In mid-April, US Rubber Manufacturers Association （RMA） predicated that the US tire consumption would increase 2%, namely about 6 million units, reaching 290 million units in total. Based on the consideration of RMA, the increase is mainly from the originally- equipped passenger vehicle and medium-sized/heavy truck tire markets.
