It has advantages and disadvantages to the development of the world economy and is a double-edged sword. The accession to the WTO marks a more active gesture by China to participate in the competition in the international market and play a more important role in the world economic arena. We should accomplish a great deal in establishing a fair and equitable new international order and promoting regional economic cooperation in Asia, and gradually take the leading role in the international market. While participating in economic globalization, we must strictly divide the boundaries of globalization and “integration”, promote world multi-polarization, safeguard the independence and sovereignty of the country, and promote the excellent national culture.
