江南古镇周庄,史载建于1086年,目前全镇大部分老房子都是清末或民国初期的建筑,有的甚至更老,都经受了上百年风雨的考验,至今仍然保存完好。这些沿河临水的青堂瓦舍依河成街,桥街相连,一眼望去尽是小桥流水人家。其青砖青瓦凸显出一派烟雨江南的古朴幽静景象。我国其他名胜古迹也都是青砖 Zhouzhuang, an ancient town in southern Yangtze River, was built in 1086.
