由长骨长度推算身高的回归方程,在人类学研究及在法医工作中都有它的实用价值。在国外,有Pearson、Trotter、Stevenson等人提出的应用长骨长度推算身高的回归方程,但以我国人体材料进行这方面的研究不多,1929年Stevenson就华北材料48具尸体进行过计算,79年四川医学院解剖教研室就西南地区男性40具成年人由长骨长度推算身高的回归方程。为了丰富我国人类学资料,作者就广西地区收集的骨路计算了从长骨(肱骨、胫骨)推算身高的回归方程。
The regression equation for estimating height from the length of long bone has its practical value in anthropological research and in forensic work. In foreign countries, Pearson, Trotter, Stevenson, and others proposed a regression equation for calculating the height of long bones. However, there are not many studies on human body materials in this area. In 1929, Stevenson calculated the 48 dead bodies of materials in North China. In the Department of Anatomy, Sichuan Medical College, a regression equation for estimating the height of the length of the long bones of 40 male adults in southwestern China. In order to enrich our anthropological data, the author calculated a regression equation for estimating height from long bones (tibia and tibia) on the bone path collected in Guangxi.
