挽歌通常是作为死者送葬的歌曲使用,表达生者对于死者的怀念与哀悼之情。但挽歌体制的形成经过了一个漫长的过程,到东汉时,出现“以挽歌为乐”的现象,尤其是到魏晋六朝时期怪异而复杂现象越来越多。魏晋时期正处于起承转合的重要阶段,出现新的衍变,这与玄学、佛学的兴盛、魏晋文人风尚等有着莫大的关系。 Elegy is often used as a song for the funeral of the deceased to express the memory and sorrow of the living creature for the dead. However, the formation of the elegy system went through a long process. When it came to the Eastern Han Dynasty, there appeared the phenomenon of “elegy for the sake of the elegy”, especially the more and more weird and complicated phenomena occurred during the Wei, Jin and the Six Dynasties. The Wei and Jin dynasties are at an important stage of functioning and transforming, and new changes have emerged. This has a great relationship with the development of metaphysics, Buddhism and the literary styles of Wei and Jin dynasties.
