Objective To observe the efficacy and nursing strategies of high-dose methotrexate in the treatment of primary central nervous system lymphoma. Methods From May 2011 to May 2016, 50 patients with primary central nervous system lymphoma admitted to Tiantan Hospital were enrolled. Using random number table divided into observation group and control group, 25 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with high-dose methotrexate, and the patients in the observation group were given targeted nursing intervention. The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care. The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate was 92.0% in the observation group and 88.0% in the control group, with no significant difference (P> 0.05). The incidence of postoperative adverse reactions in the observation group was 28.0%, which was significantly lower than that in the control group (64.0%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion High-dose methotrexate is an effective drug for the treatment of primary central nervous system lymphoma. Targeted nursing intervention can effectively enhance the therapeutic effect and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
