Objective To explore the influencing factors of dental office behavior in children aged 2 ~ 6 years and to establish a simple and feasible behavior prediction model of dental office for young children. Methods The dental office behavior assessment of 96 children aged 2 to 6 years undergoing dental treatment was divided into two groups: non-cooperation group and non-cooperation group. Questionnaire was used to obtain parents’ oral health awareness, mother’s dental anxiety, children’s daily behavioral characteristics and emotion type. SPSS11.5 software analysis of the differences between the various factors and the dental clinic related behavior. Results There was a significant difference between the two groups in age (4.35 ± 0.83 vs 3.85 ± 1.07) and emotional stress (17.77 ± 4.88 vs 23.23 ± 4.76) (P <0.05). The treatment duration, kindergarten admission performance There was a significant correlation between the responsibility of parents for children’s oral diseases and the behavior of children’s oral clinic (P <0.05). Conclusion The targeted communication with parents before treatment can effectively predict the behavior of young children’s dental clinics.
