由湖南省湘潭市液压件厂等单位研制的YXD—300型全液压钻机，于1984年12月在湘潭通过技术鉴定。地质、冶金，煤炭等部有关院校、研究所及制造、使用单位的代表73人参加。与会代表听取了钻机的研制、试验、性能测试情况及观看了样机操作后，进行了热烈的讨论，一致认为：“YXD—300_D~K型全液压钻机的样机研制是成功的。是国内钻探行业中，钻进深度300米的全液压钻机研究中的一个新的进展和突破”。该钻机已由湘潭矿业学院承担生产任务。
