我区农学会,元月底在银川举行了首次年会暨第一届会员代表大会。参加会的有老专家,也有青年技术人员,共100多名代表,根据多年的实践经验和研究成果,提出了85篇学术论文。会议通过论文宣读和专题讨论,探讨了我区几年来农业生产上的有关技术问题,为制定我区农业生产技术政策和增产技术措施,提供了一定的依据。同时,为今后的农业科学研究工作提供了新的课题和线索。在种稻问题上,经过讨论,比较接近的意见是:银川以北地区低洼地及新垦地,有排水条件的,可以稳步发硅一些水稻;银川以南老户区,应通过稻段调整,逐步改常年稻为稻旱轮作,改二段轮作为三段轮作,适当减少一些水稻,以提高单位面积产量为主要增产途径。在盐碱土改良问题上,老户区应以农业措施为主,新垦地和地下水他较高地区,应以水利措施 I District Agricultural Association, the end of January at Yinchuan held its first annual meeting and the first member congress.
