“Ink and wash with the times ” is a piece of ordinary painting and calligraphy in Shi Tao during the early Qing dynasty. It became a kind of art view enshrined by contemporary and contemporary Chinese artists more than two hundred years later, and the famous saying advocating artistic innovation. I think “ink ” is not a narrow Chinese painting techniques and forms, but the spirit and content of Chinese painting. Of course, techniques and forms also change with the development of the times, but relatively speaking, their forms are much more stable.
