微盘激光器是形如图钉状、尺寸在光波长量级的微型激光器。在微盘腔中回音壁模式为其主要模式特征。由于其具有阈值低、体积小、几何图形简单、可动态模操作、易与其他电子元件集成等优势被人们广泛研究。在简要分析微盘激光器结构特性和模式特性的基础上,概述了微盘激光器近年来在降低激射阈值、控制激光定向输出以及利用新型材料制备激光器等方面的研究成果。介绍了器件在光学传感、光学探测、光学滤波、波分复用等众多领域的应用,并展望了微盘激光器的发展趋势。
Microphase lasers are microtags in the shape of pins and are of the order of magnitude of light wavelength. The whispering gallery mode is the main mode feature in the microcavity cavity. Due to its low threshold, small size, simple geometry, dynamic mode operation, easy integration with other electronic components and other advantages are widely studied. Based on the brief analysis of microstructural properties and mode characteristics of microstrip lasers, the research results of microstrip lasers in recent years are summarized in the aspects of reducing the lasing threshold, controlling the laser directional output and using new materials to prepare lasers. The applications of the device in many fields such as optical sensing, optical detection, optical filtering and wavelength division multiplexing are introduced, and the development trend of microdisk lasers is also forecasted.
