The purpose of this article is to explain why semiotics should be considered as a social science. This paper attempts to examine contemporary social semiotic studies in Fabry, Ferraro and Randolphska et al., And contemporary linguists such as Saussure, Durkheim, Levi Strauss, and Pritto , Between sociologists and anthropologists, find some sort of connected reading path.
