一、选育种 MARDI新选育的番木瓜品种特征 及其稳定性的评价 由MARDI(马来西亚农业研究与发展研究所)在马来西亚四个地点作了番木瓜栽培试验。供试的四个品种中,一个是由古巴引进的Maradol品种,其余三个是MARDI系列品种。在种植的18个月后测定结果数、果实重量、产量以及可溶性总固形物的百分率。认为性状变异是由于不同品种和环境之间的差异所致。已经发现,遗传型与环境之间的相互作用只对可溶性总固形物百分率和总产量有影响。就产量而言,认为Maradol品种的产量相当稳定,而Soio品种回交后的株系产量的稳定性一般,而Sitiawan和Subaug6二品种则不稳定; 但这四个品种的可溶性总固形物的百分率却大致一样地稳定。虽然Maradol品种的产量较稳定,但在三个地点的产量均为最低;Sitiawan品种虽被认为不稳定,但在三个地点的产量却都是最高的。
I. Selection of Breeding Characteristics and Stability of Newly Breeding Papaya Varieties Mardi Papaya Cultivation Experiment was conducted by MARDI (Malaysia Institute of Agricultural Research and Development) at four locations in Malaysia. Of the four varieties tested, one is the Maradol variety introduced from Cuba and the other three are the MARDI series. The number of results, fruit weight, yield, and percentage of total soluble solids were measured 18 months after planting. The variation of traits is thought to be due to the differences between breeds and environments. It has been found that the interaction between genetic patterns and the environment affects only the percentage of total soluble solids and the total yield. In terms of yield, the yield of Maradol was considered quite stable, whereas that of Soio was normal after the backcrossing, whereas the yield of the two varieties of Sitiawan and Subaug6 was not stable; however, the percentage of total soluble solids in the four cultivars It is about the same. Although the production of the Maradol varieties is more stable, yields are lowest in all three locations; although the Sitiawan varieties are considered unstable, yields are highest in all three locations.
