复合材料在飞机机体和发动机中扮演着越来越重要的角色,同时也促进了无损检测技术(NDT)的发展,也成为真正意义上结构健康监测(SHM)的重要开端。虽然复合材料部件相比铝材部件的维修需求更少,但是同样也需要检查和修理。而且,随着复合材料在新飞机或发动机中所占比重的不断增大、部件数量增多且结构越来越复杂,其检查和维修的经济性变得越来越关键。
Composites play a more and more important role in the aircraft body and engine, as well as promoting the development of non-destructive testing (NDT), which is also an important start for structural health monitoring (SHM) in the true sense. Although composite parts require less maintenance than aluminum parts, they also need to be inspected and repaired. Moreover, as the proportion of composites in new aircraft or engines increases, the number of components increases and the structure becomes more complex, the economics of inspection and repair become more and more critical.
