关于现实主义的争论,在中国当代艺术30年的进程中一直没有消停过。现实主义是否是唯一正确的道路,这样的大激辩我们至今仍记忆犹新,而现在,新一辈的学人又通过自己的个案研究、批评工作对现实主义作出了更为本质性的反思。如果说,中国当代艺术的30年,就是对现实主义质疑、斗争、消解、吸收的30年,这种说法毫不夸张。值得注意的是,无论是质疑还是消解,它们并未否定现实主义作为一门现实的艺术而产生的强大的社会批判力,而只是把矛头指向了现实主义的种种虚假外
The controversy over realism has not stopped in the process of 30 years of Chinese contemporary art. Whether realism is the only correct way, such a big debate we still remember, and now, the new generation of scholars through their own case studies and criticism of realism made a more substantive reflection . If we say that the 30 years of Chinese contemporary art are the three decades of questioning, fighting, dissolving and absorbing realism, it is no exaggeration to say that. It is worth noting that whether it is questioning or eliminating, they do not negate the powerful social criticism that realism produces as a real art, but point it at the false realism
