Objective: To study the effect of sulfur and potassium soaps on the prevention and treatment of infectious skin diseases during the training of military officers and soldiers in the tropical areas, and to explore the cost-effective measures for the prevention and treatment of skin diseases. Methods: A total of 106 officers and men of field training summer summer strong field strength training station were selected as the observation group. The training intensity of alternative training was similar. The officers and soldiers in the camp area were 12 3 as the control group. The observation group was treated with sulfur and soap only, while the control group without any ointment. The incidence of infectious dermatitis in the two groups was statistically analyzed by questionnaire. Results: The morbidity of fungal, bacterial and insect-borne dermatitis in the two groups increased after 3 months of training. The morbidity of the above three kinds of skin diseases in the observation group increased by 16.0 3%, 11.0 2% and 10.38%, which were significantly lower than those of the control group (2 6.01%, 19.51% and 16.2 6%). CONCLUSIONS: Sulfur-potassium soap has significant preventive and therapeutic effects on a variety of infectious skin diseases and has the advantages of low cost and convenient carrying, and is suitable for long-term use by field combat troops.
