《长征组歌》是为纪念长征胜利30周年,由时任总政治部主任的肖华将军亲笔创作的长篇组诗《红军不怕远征难》,并得到周恩来、邓小平、贺龙、聂荣臻、徐向前等老一辈无产阶级革命家和历届军委、总部、北京军区领导同志的亲切关怀和精心指导下创排完成的。杨成武、杨得志、廖汉生、孙毅等老首长都曾亲临创排现场具体指导。曾任北京军区司令员的杨勇将军亲自主持了创作排练工作。主创人员怀着对党和军队的无比崇敬之情,历时数月沿红军长征路体验生活,艺术再现和记录了红军长征的辉煌历史。 The “Long March Song” is a long poem “The Red Army Is Not Afraid of Expeditionary Difficulties” authored by General Xiao Hua, then General Political Department director, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the victory of the Long March. The proletarian revolutionaries and leaders of the Central Military Commission, the headquarters and the Beijing Military Region, with their cordial care and careful guidance, have completed the task. Yang Chengwu, Yang Dezhi, Liao Hansheng, Sun Yi and other veterans have personally visited the site to create specific guidance. General Yang Yong, former commander of the Beijing Military Region, personally presided over the creative rehearsal work. With their immense reverence for the party and the army, the creative staff took months to experience life along the Red Army Long March and art recreated and recorded the glorious history of the Red Army’s Long March.
