George Blake was originally a British intelligence officer, but his true boss was KGB. At the trial, he was accused by a judge of “nearly destroying all the intelligence agencies established by Britain after the Second World War.” In 1961, he was sentenced to 42 years in prison. After escaping to Moscow in 1966, he lived in exile mysteriously and silently. After nearly a quarter of a century, he finally broke the silence and wrote a book entitled “My Spy’s Life”, which reveals many little-known situations. George Black, 69, is definitely not a spy of secrets on the outside. He recently interviewed the correspondents of the French Letters Weekly about his experiences with a somewhat agitated and cynical expression:
