UO_2燃料芯块的微观结构对燃料的堆内尺寸行为起决定性作用。采用U_3O_3添加剂可改善芯块微观结构,但同时使芯块密度下降,开口孔隙度增加进而导致吸湿加剧。因此,必须采用烧结性良好的UO_2粉末和合适的成型烧结条件以使开口孔隙度和细孔隙度降至最低。
The microstructure of UO_2 fuel pellets plays a decisive role in the in-reactor dimensional behavior of the fuel. U_3O_3 additives can improve the microstructure of the pellets, but at the same time, the density of the pellets is decreased and the porosity of the openings is increased, resulting in the increase of moisture absorption. Therefore, good sintered UO 2 powder and suitable forming sintering conditions must be used to minimize open porosity and fine porosity.
