试验研究表明，从黄瓜移入温室盆内到拉秧，在生育期内，每盆单株黄瓜总耗水量为１１～１９．６ｋｇ，平均耗水１４．９ｋｇ，日耗水量４．３～８．３ｍｍ。每株黄瓜产量０．４～１．３ｋｇ，水分利用效率３８～６６ｇ／ｋｇ株，即每生产１ｋｇ黄瓜需水量１５～２６ｋｇ。经过８３ｄ生育期的灌水，土地盐分的累积十分迅速，土壤盐分平均增加１．１３～１．６７倍，因此必须注意盐分的控制。
