The weak line of tobacco mosaic virus N_ (11) obtained by nitrous acid mutagenesis has a protective effect on tomato and tobacco-infected strong lines in the experimental greenhouse. In the field experiment in Hangzhou, the tomato inoculated with the weak line of N_ (11) increased yield by 11.39% compared with the uninoculated control. In Lanzhou’s field and productive greenhouse experiments, they increased yields by 10.9-12.7% and 27.5-32.2%
