我們是如何組織和領導學生課外活動小組的

一九五三學年上期,我校即已開展各種課外活動,建立了各種課本活動小組。同年下期,根據全國中學教育會議關於中學教育為總路綫服務的精神,有意識地在課外活動中加强了政治思想教育,特別是勞動教育;並在工作中初步取得了一些經驗。但當時的各種課外活動,還沒有緊密地圍繞教學工作來進行。本期根據本市中等學校教職員代表會議提出的「鞏固地樹立以教學為中心的思想,貫徹全面發展的教育方針,加强對教學的领導,為提高學校教育質量而努力」的精神,深入檢查了學校工作,才進一步體會到全面發展教育方針的重要意義,明確認識到提高學校教育質量的途徑主要是通過課堂教學;而課外活動的目的和任務是培養學生的社會主義政治方向和共產主義道德品質,鞏固、加深和擴大畢生在課堂上所獲得的知識,發展學生對於文學藝術、科學技衛和體育運動各部門的興趣,以及應用知識於實踐的技能和技巧。因此,課外活動就成為貫徹全面發展的教育方針中不可分割的部分,共作法必須是圍繞教學來進行。根據這種認識,我們進一步改進了各種課外活動小組的工作。目前我校計有電機、無綫電、化工、攝影、氣象、動物、植物、生物、通訊、時事研究、航空模型、衛生、圖書、舞蹈、田徑、機巧,跳伞、美術、器樂、合唱團、紅領巾歌詠隊等二十一個課外活動組織,一般屬於各種課外研究性質,有的則屬於藝術、文娛、體育活動的組織。這些小組都是從一九五三學年上期以來逐步建立的。在建立小組的過程中,我們曾不斷地克服了工作中的一些困難。如有的教師由於對小組活動與教學的關聯認識不足,因而對於組織和领導小組的活動不很積極。我們就着手辦好幾個小組,通過小組的成績展覽,以具體的事例來提高教師的認識。又如小組活動場所不足,我們就充分利用實驗室、會議室、美術教室、音樂教室、社團辦公室等地方,甚至一間堆放破爛傢具的小黑屋子,也加以整修作爲攝影組的暗室。至於有些小組活動需用的工具、材料,我們是採取自籌基金、公家補助、逐期添置設備、依靠校際間 In the first half of the 1953 academic year, various extracurricular activities have been carried out and various textbook activity groups have been set up. These groups have been gradually established since the 1953 academic period. In building the team, we have constantly overcome some difficulties in our work. Some teachers are not very active in organizing and leading group activities because of their lack of awareness of the relevance of group activities and teaching. We set out to run several groups through the group’s performance exhibitions to enhance teachers’ understanding with concrete examples. In the case of insufficient group activities, we make full use of laboratories, conference rooms, fine arts classrooms, music classrooms, community offices and other places, and even a small black room with tattered furniture is also renovated as a dark room for photography groups. As for some of the tools and materials needed for the activities of the group, we take self-financing funds and public subsidies to purchase equipment on a period-by-period basis.
