白雪花又名白花丹、蕾丝花。为常绿攀缘状半灌木,叶互生,叶卵形至矩圆状卵形,总状花序,花洁白,娇洁清丽,给人一种清凉之感。花期为早春至初夏。白雪花分布较广,主要分布于热带地区,我国主要产于云、贵、川、两广及福建与台湾等地。性喜温暖、湿润及阳光充足的环境,不耐寒。较耐阴,不宜在强光下曝晒。生长适温15℃～25℃,冬季温度不宜长期低于8℃。对土壤要求不严,但以疏松、肥沃的微酸性沙质土壤为宜,忌长期干燥。
