The 80s have flipped over the last page of their almanac. On the occasion of this new occasion, the author, based on his personal judgment, outlined its implications for the 10 major events in the world economy in the 1980s and concluded with a brief conclusion. First, the economies of developed western capitalist countries have continued to grow. After experiencing the economic crisis of the capitalist world from 1980 to 1982, the western economy has been growing for seven years from 1983 to 1989, with 4.3% and 3.3% in 1988 and 1989, respectively, approaching the 40-year long-term average of 1950 .
