以前,电渣焊多用于厚度40毫米以上的钢板,40毫米以下的中厚板多采用自动焊和手工焊。近年来,随着工业生产的发展,电渣焊已逐渐应用于中厚板。管极电渣焊(又称管状焊条丝机电渣焊)就是为了适应中、厚板的焊接而在熔咀电渣焊基础上发展起来的。1970年冶金部建筑科学研究院等单位就已试验成功,并用于生产中,本刊1972年第三期已予报道。最近,某些单位在学习这些经验的基础上又做了不少工作,现将上海重型机器厂在生产中应用的情况介绍如下(有关基本原理,请参见本刊1972年第三期“管状焊条丝极电渣焊”一文):
Previously, electroslag welding used for more than 40 mm thick steel plate, more than 40 mm thick plate using automatic welding and manual welding. In recent years, with the development of industrial production, electroslag welding has been gradually applied to plate. Pipe Electroslag Welding (also known as the tubular electrode wire electroslag welding) is in order to adapt to medium and thick plate welding in meltblown electroslag welding based on the development. In 1970 the Ministry of Metallurgical Building Research Institute and other units have been successfully tested and used in production, the third issue of 1972 has been reported. Recently, some units have done a lot of work on the basis of learning from these experiences.
