我厂辊底式退火炉始建于1974年,原采用的是铸钢水冷却炉辊,并且没有余热回收装置,加上炉体不严,绝热性差,燃烧装置落后,所以造成燃耗高,耗水量大,环境条件恶劣。随着科学技术的发展,以及能源供求矛盾的日益紧张,对原辊底式炉进行技术改造,应用节能型无水冷耐热铸钢辊的探讨,更显得大有必要。为此,我厂于1987年12月在该厂辊底式退火炉上进行了10根无水冷耐热铸钢辊的试验,取得了良好的节能、节水效果。煤气单耗由原来的448m~3/批管,降低到333m~3/批管,燃料节约率达25.7%,年预计可节约燃料410万m~3,节水15.55万t直接
