Free radicals produced by oxidative stress may participate in the pathological process of rheumatoid arthritis as an oxidant and an inflammatory mediator. Superoxide dismutase is an important antioxidant enzyme that plays an important role in maintaining the homeostasis of redox levels in the body. The study of the regulation of oxidative stress and superoxide dismutase in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis not only lay the foundation for revealing the role of “oxidation-antioxidant ” in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis, but also for seeking intervention treatment Rheumatoid arthritis drugs offer new options.
