中国戏曲是排除了自然主义的写意戏剧观,其公开承认舞台上的演绎并不是真实的生活。中国的戏曲表演艺术家们认为“戏是生活的虚拟”。中国戏曲的“虚拟说”指的就是“以实为体,以虚伪用,虚由实生,实伏虚行”。笔者认为中国戏曲的“虚师说”实际上很好的总结归纳了戏曲表演中体现性和表现性相结合表演形式。“实”为体验,“虚”为表现。表现是建立在体验的基础上,而体验的足够积累和再提炼成就了舞台上的表现,使其焕发出光彩。
