环境沉积学是沉积学与环境科学相结合而发展的一门新兴学科,已成为沉积学研究的前沿之一。环境沉积学为了解决人类社会发展的重大问题而兴起,目前主要包括原生环境(自然灾害)沉积学、污染物环境沉积学、生态环境沉积学和全球变化环境沉积学4个方面的研究内容。随着科学技术的发展,环境沉积学的研究也向着全球化、精细化、动态化、定量化的方向发展。环境沉积学受到了越来越多的重视,其体系也日益完善,将在资源、环境、灾害、全球变化等重大问题的研究中发挥越来越重要的作用。
Environmental sedimentology is a new discipline developed by the combination of sedimentology and environmental science, and has become one of the forefront of sedimentology research. Environmental sedimentology is emerging in order to solve the major problems in the development of human society. Currently, it mainly includes four aspects: sedimentology of native environment (natural disasters), sedimentology of environmental pollutants, ecological sedimentology and environmental sedimentology of global change. With the development of science and technology, the research of environmental sedimentology has also been oriented toward globalization, elaboration, dynamization and quantification. Environmental sedimentology has received more and more attention, and its system is also increasingly improved. It will play an increasingly important role in the study of major issues such as resources, the environment, disasters and global changes.
