乳糖醇(乳梨醇)的英文名Lactitol,它是以乳糖为原料经还原制得的二元糖醇,可作为低热值、防龋齿的代糖品,味甜适口。乳糖醇近年来在国外发展迅猛,仅1985年至1995年欧美就有十多个国家进行开发、上市。这是由于该品能广泛应用于各种食品、饮料、化妆品中。乳糖醇是生物体内双歧杆菌的强力增值因子,可使肠胃菌群的失调得到平衡,并能增加人体免疫力,有助于恢复疲劳、振奋精神。 乳糖醇在医药上是取代乳果糖的第二代新药,用于治疗肝性脑病。由于乳糖醇在小肠不被吸收而以原形进入结肠,通过大肠菌丛首先分解成短链有机酸,从而能酸化结肠的内容物,使pH降低,并与非离子氨结合形成难以被肠道 Lactitol (lactitol) English name Lactitol, which is lactose as raw material by reducing the two sugar alcohol, can be used as a low calorie, anti-caries on behalf of the sugar, sweet palatability.
