目的探讨高强度聚焦超声(HIFU)治疗乳腺癌的有效性和可行性。方法选取经穿刺活检病理确诊为乳腺浸润性导管癌患者13例,接受高强度聚焦超声治疗而后行改良根治术,对癌组织及周围正常组织分别取材,进行光镜、电镜观察及NADH-黄递酶活性检测。结果光镜观察11例靶区内肿瘤组织仅有轻微退变,2例靶区内约40%的肿瘤组织出现凝固性坏死。电镜显示靶区内肿瘤细胞凝固性坏死,NADH-黄递酶活性检测发现靶区肿瘤染色阴性。结论经高强度聚焦超声治疗,乳腺癌组织发生坏死,HIFU有望成为乳腺癌治疗的有效方法。
Objective To investigate the effectiveness and feasibility of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) in the treatment of breast cancer. Methods Thirteen patients with breast invasive ductal carcinoma diagnosed by biopsy were enrolled in this study. High-intensity focused ultrasound and modified radical mastectomy were performed. The cancerous tissues and surrounding normal tissues were harvested and examined by light and electron microscopy and NADH- Enzyme activity testing. Results In the 11 cases, only slight degeneration of the tumor tissue was observed by light microscopy, and coagulation necrosis was observed in about 40% of the tumor tissues in 2 cases. Electron microscopy showed coagulation and necrosis of tumor cells in the target area. The detection of NADH-diaphorase activity showed that the target area was negative for staining. Conclusion High intensity focused ultrasound treatment of breast cancer tissue necrosis, HIFU is expected to be an effective method of treatment of breast cancer.
