1973年底在美国菲尼克斯市曾有一次肝炎流行爆发。病例集中于州立大学及其附近地区。流行病学调查证明,传染源是饭馆中的工作人员,传播途径是食物。在发病的63例中,50例检查急性期血清HBsAg皆阴性,24例在急性期及恢复期双份血清用被动血球凝集法检查抗HBs亦全部阴性。12例的平均潜伏期为20天(极限17~30天)。说明此次流行属于甲型病毒性肝炎。
The end of 1973 in the United States Phoenix once had a hepatitis epidemic. The cases are concentrated in the state university and its vicinity. Epidemiological survey proved that the source of infection is a restaurant staff, the route of transmission is food. Among the 63 cases, all of the 50 cases were negative for HBsAg in the acute phase, and 24 cases were all negative for anti-HBs by passive hemagglutination in both acute and convalescent phases. The average latency of 12 cases was 20 days (limit of 17 to 30 days). Description of the epidemic is a viral hepatitis.
