2000年纺织品服装进口138.89亿美元,同比增长14.89％。纺织品进口127.05亿美元,同比增长15.55％;服装进口11.84亿美元,同比增长8.23％。2000年进口各种天然纺织原料50.57万吨,同比增长46.09％;进口各种化纤短纤121.90万吨,同比增长18.35％;进口各种化纤单体450.47万吨,同经增长50.76％。进口纺织机械22.68亿美元,同比增长53.20％。
In 2000, the import of textiles and clothing was 13.889 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 14.89%. Textile import was 12.705 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 15.55% year-on-year; apparel imports were 1.184 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 8.23% year-on-year. In 2000, it imported 505,700 tons of natural textile raw materials, an increase of 46.09% year-on-year; imported 1,190,900 tons of chemical fiber staple fibers, an increase of 18.35% over the same period of last year; and imported 4,049,700 tons of various chemical fiber monomers, an increase of 50.76%. Imported textile machinery reached 2.268 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 53.20%.
