In 2002, we carried out crab pool cages experiment in Xinfang Town, Yixing City, and compared the breeding patterns of different stocking densities to explore the recovery rate of cage crabs and try new techniques of crab farming. The situation is summarized as follows. 1 Basic Conditions and Major Techniques 1.1 Conditions of Ponds Selection of crab ponds in Qixing Village, Xinfang Town, Yixing, close to the Xixi River which is convenient and pollution-free with high-quality water and has an area of 30 mu and a depth of 1.3m to 1.5m.
