In order to elucidate the immune relationship between tumor and host, this article discusses from the following aspects: 1. Does the potential immune abnormality lead to cancer; 2. The host immune response to cancer; 3. The prospect of immunotherapy for cancer prevention and control how is it. Immunodeficiency, immunosurveillance, and cancer Many authors, Thomas and Burnet, believe that the main role of the immune system, particularly cellular immunity, is in the identification and rejection of cancer cell lines; when cellular immunity is defective, tumors are more likely to occur. Obviously, clinically clear tumors have escaped immune surveillance; however, clinically detected patients with cancers that have insufficient cellular immunity are mostly advanced cases. On the other hand, in many cases with cellular immunodeficiency, such as leprosy, sarcoidosis, etc.
