青岛有着蜿蜒730公里的海岸线和多处优良的港湾。自古以来,青岛海域一直是中国南北交通、海外交流的重要海上通道和海防要地。历史的积淀赋予了这片蔚蓝的海域太多未知的故事,而这些未知的“故事”也急需揭开它神秘的面纱。2014年,对于青岛水下考古工作来说,是具有突破性的一年,也因此翻开了青岛水下文化遗产保护工作的新篇章。
Qingdao has a meandering 730 km of coastline and many excellent harbor. Since ancient times, the sea area of Qingdao has always been an important sea passage and a key point of coastal defense for traffic and overseas exchanges between China and South Korea. The accumulation of history gives too many unknown stories in this blue sea, and these unknown “stories” are in urgent need of revealing its mysterious veil. In 2014, it was a breakthrough year for underwater archeology in Qingdao, thus opening a new chapter in the protection of underwater cultural heritage in Qingdao.
