每逢年末岁首,中国很多地方都有张贴年画、门神以及对联的习俗,以祈望新的一年吉祥喜庆、驱凶消灾。年画以其饱满的构图,艳丽的色彩,流畅的线条,浓郁的民俗气息而深受大众的喜爱。据记载,中国现存最早的年画是宋版《隋朝窈窕呈倾国之芳容图》,画的是王昭君、赵飞燕、班姬、绿珠。宋代年画一般是木版印线、人工涂色,色彩比较鲜艳,到了明末,木版彩色套印技术逐渐成熟,年画得以迅速发展。从元、明一直到清末民初,全国出现了很多印制年画的雕版印刷场所,木版年画步入寻常百姓家。新
