A model of empirical exudation based on Fick’s first law of diffusion has been proposed to compare and evaluate the exudation performance of a series of marine antifouling paints containing organotin as an effective poison. This pattern has previously been applied to characterize coatings containing various triphenyltin and tributyltin compounds incorporated into common ethylene coatings. The empirical parameters can be obtained by comparing the exudation characteristics of one coating with the laboratory analysis of the other static exudation tests. In order to promote the model and further verify its practicality, this study applies this model to the exudation data of various coatings published in the literature containing Cu 2 O, triphenyl lead acetate and other tri-tin compounds. The results obtained are awe-inspiring because the poison diffusion curves obtained for these coatings have the same general form as observed in previous studies, and depending on the relative performance of the various coatings known, each The kinds of coatings derived from the empirical parameters rationalization.
