I. Development Overview In 1911, Talyr proposed the term system engineering in his article on the law of scientific management. Later, Bell Telephone Company adopted it in a planned switch system. 1940 American Communications Machinery Manufacturing Company’s RCA plant systems engineering approach has been used. 1945 US Rand Corporation, using mathematical methods to analyze various systems. After 1950, many enterprises use operations research to deal with large-scale system problems. 1957 Machol called this knowledge system engineering. In 1959, in order to develop Polaris missiles, the U.S. military department set up a systems engineering department. The following eight general contracting companies, 250 second-tier companies, and nearly 9,000 three-package companies are under the jurisdiction of the U.S. military. The missile system includes the missile itself, the launching device, the guidance system, the test and operation device, and the missile itself has the missile body, the wing, the propulsion device and the control system. Developing knowledge and skills in almost all kinds of engineering disciplines used in the development of missile systems
