Background: There are many studies on the effects of single radiation damage, but there are few reports about the effects of the combination of smoke, tea and radiation on the body weight and white blood cells in experimental animals. Objective: To observe the effects of smoking, drinking tea and radiation alone or in combination on the body weight and peripheral white blood cell count of mice. Design: Randomized double-blind observation. Location and materials: Take healthy mice 64, in Binzhou Medical College Toxicology Laboratory for observational studies. Intervention: 64 healthy mice were divided into 8 groups. 7 groups of mice were given 7d smoking, 7d tea drinking and 2Gy irradiation respectively. One group was blank control group. The body weight, peripheral blood leukocytes Counting changes. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The growth of mice body mass after 7 days of experiment and changes of peripheral white blood cell count at the end of experiment. Results: The body mass of mice in the smoking group was significantly higher than that of the control group (-1.63 ± 1.51) g 犦 (0.50 ± 1.65) g 犦 (t = 2.693, P <0.05) -2.25 ± 1.20) g 犦 was lower than that of the blank control group (t = 3.821, P <0.01). The white blood cell count of the radiation group was lower than that of the blank control group (4.28 ± 1.71) × 109L-1 7.7 (7.74 ± 1.97) × 109L-1 犦 (t = 3.761, P <0.01). Conclusion: Both smoking and radiation can inhibit the growth of body weight in mice, radiation can reduce the number of peripheral blood leucocytes in mice. Smoke tea on radiation-induced mouse body mass and blood leukocyte count no significant intervention.
