虚拟专用网络VPN(VirtualPrivateNetwork),是一门网络新技术,为我们提供了一种通过公用网络安全地对企业内部专用网络进行远程访问的连接方式。VPN连接使用隧道作为传输通道,这个隧道是建立在公共网络或专用网络基础之上的,如:Internet或Intranet。目前,两种既各具特点又具有一定互补性的VPN架构正逐渐在交付新兴服务的基础网络领域大行其道,这两种VPN就是基于IPSecurity(IPsec)的VPN和采用MPLS技术的VPN。本文对这两种架构的VPN进行了探讨,分析了它们的相似之处、相互之间的差异以及各自的优点。
Virtual Private Network VPN (Virtual Private Network), is a new network technology that provides us with a way to securely connect to private networks within the enterprise remotely over a public network. A VPN connection uses a tunnel as a transport channel. The tunnel is based on a public or private network, such as the Internet or an intranet. Currently, two unique and complementary VPN architectures are gradually emerging in the infrastructure networks that deliver emerging services: IPSecurity (IPsec) -based VPNs and MPLS-enabled VPNs. This article explores the VPNs of these two architectures, analyzes their similarities, their differences and their respective advantages.
