记者李梦晓报道 11月13日,刚刚下完数百万美元3Com USR Modem订单的怡海电子资源(中国)有限公司正式成为3Com USR Modem产品中国总代理。在美国,3Com USR Modem产品一般占领10米Modem柜台中的9米。此次代理协定的签定意味着3Com公司将在中国广泛推广其Modem系列产品。据3Com公司官员介绍,USR品牌的Modem拥有46％的国际市场份额。怡海公司在全国设有26个分支机构,是一家专业分销公司。合作双方认为,凭借怡海公司的分销渠道、3Com USR Modem的品牌效应和技术优势以及双方的技术服务,相信在中国会获得较大的市场份额。3Com与怡海做出共同承诺,将在ITU 56K标准确立之后负责为所有用户升级到ITU标准以保护用户的投资。

In the United States, 3Com USR Modem products typically occupy 9 meters in a 10 meter Modem counter. The signing of the agency agreement means that 3Com will widely promote its Modem series in China. According to 3Com officials, Modem’s Modem has a 46% international market share. Yihai Company has 26 branches throughout the country and is a professional distribution company. The two partners believe that with Yihai’s distribution channels, the brand and technical advantages of 3Com USR Modem, and the technical services of both parties, it is believed that China will gain a larger market share. 3Com and Yihai have made a common commitment that after the establishment of ITU 56K standards, they will be responsible for upgrading all users to ITU standards to protect the investment of users.
