In the United States and the United States human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from men to women, the incidence of about 15% to 30%. As HIV is rarely reported in the majority of developed countries from women to men, the purpose of this paper is to identify risk factors for heterosexual transmission of HIV and to compare men and women with each other. PARTICIPANTS AND METHODS: From March 1987 to March 1991, 563 couples in nine European countries were HIV-positive, including 156 women infected and their 159 male spouses, as well as 400 men infected and their 404 Female spouse.
