Objective To investigate the risk factors for sustained hypotension resulting from endovascular stent-graft in the treatment of carotid stenosis. Methods From June 2011 to October 2012, 40 patients with carotid artery stenosis underwent endovascular stenting, and analyzed the causes of persistent low blood pressure risk factors after stenting. Results Among the 40 patients, carotid stenosis was over 70% in 28 patients, 23 patients had persistent hypotension after operation, 12 patients had less than 70% stenosis, and persistent postoperative hypotension 3 For example, the proportion of patients with preoperative carotid artery stenosis greater than 70% was significantly higher than those with less than 70% stenosis (P <0.05). Conclusions If the patient has a history of hypotension before surgery, the operation time is too long, especially the severity of carotid stenosis, the stent diameter is larger than the diameter of the carotid artery, and the postoperative patients are more prone to persistent hypotension than the ordinary patients.
