According to the characteristics of the underground communication pipeline network and the actual demand of the communication department for pipeline network planning, engineering design, maintenance management and statistical analysis, the communication trunk network is taken as the initial target and the communication integrated network is the ultimate goal. The selection of excellent domestic geographic information system foundation MAPGIS software platform for the secondary development, the establishment of underground communication pipeline dynamic information management system, and the application of the system status and prospects are briefly introduced.
