多年来,我厂金相检查一直采用手工磨片,速度慢(磨一个试样需要十几分钟),磨片质量差,加上工作量大,往往不能满足生产的需要。自1964年改用腊盘磨光以后,虽然磨片速度有所提高,(磨一块试样缩短到4—5分钟)但因腊盘磨光基本上是一个滚压过程,磨面有较大的机械变形,金相组织模糊不清,特别是软试样(如退火件),磨 面变形更大,球状珠光体很不清晰,往往造成判断上的错误,给生产带来一定困难。特别是有些极细的球化珠光体组织,由于在磨片中发生了变形,往往误判为欠热组织,造成不应有的浪费。

In particular, some very fine spherical pearlitic tissue, due to deformation occurred in the grinding film, often misjudged as under-heated tissue, resulting in undue waste.
