广场健身舞具有健身、健心、健脑、健美的价值。经常进行广场健身舞练习,可以改善心肺功能,加速新陈代谢过程,促进消化,消除大脑疲劳和精神紧张,从而达到增强体质,增进健康,延缓衰退,提高人体的活动能力等良好的健身作用。文章采用文献资料法、逻辑分析法等研究方法,通过深入解读《全民健身计划纲要》、《全民健身条例》并结合广场健身舞特征,对广场健身舞在全民健身工程中开展的可行性进行了分析,并指出了利用广场健身舞实践全面健身工程的途径。
