The reporter learned from the Shanghai Institute of Hematology, Shanghai Second Medical University, recently that the research team led by Chen Saijuan, Chen Guoqiang, Shen Zhixiang, and Chen Ying has made major breakthroughs in leukemia differentiation, basic theory of apoptosis, and clinical gene therapy research, making leukemia in China The overall level of new therapeutic research has leapt into the world’s leading position. For the first time in the study, researchers in this research group discovered more than 100 key genes regulated by retinoic acid, which laid the foundation for humans to use therapeutic gene expression methods to treat leukemia. This research team took the lead in setting up a domestic system of high-throughput automated DNA sequencing, genome scanning, advanced gene mapping, and nearly 20,000 hematopoietic devices.
